This holiday season we have so many accomplishments to celebrate! Two new Habitat for Humanity of Louisa County partner families will be living in their own homes for the first time. The dream of home ownership has been realized for Rochelle Crawford and her sons, and Jessie Winston and her sons.
What a fabulous Christmas gift for both families!
We are grateful for the contributions of numerous volunteers, businesses, community organizations and donors. Without your support, addressing the need for decent, affordable housing for families in need would not be possible
But the work continues. Can we count on your support to help continue the success of Habitat for Humanity of Louisa County?
The first of our two new homes on Blueberry Lane is under roof and the second home foundation will be complete in the next week. In addition, ambitious plans are being developed for a major project to build a multi-unit housing community over the next five years.
Our mission is to build or renovate as many homes as possible for families, seniors, and those in a need of safe, affordable places to call home. By building strong and stable homes, Habitat also builds strong and stable communities
Your support is critical to achieve this mission! You can help provide a hand up, not a hand out. Helping families move into decent, affordable Habitat homes helps them build better lives. It provides a pathway toward financial stability, safety for their children, and a healthy environment in which the whole family can thrive
